Preparation & Painting Process

• The home’s exterior was carefully prepared.  This included pressure washing, crack repairs and remedial repairs.

• Timberwork preparation was extensive. Previous coatings had failed due to lack of wood primer. Our team meticulously stripped all timber back to raw.

• Correct primers were applied to all surfaces, with high-performance coatings used for coastal protection.

• A full exterior paint system was selected specifically for the coastal location to ensure long-term durability and resistance to the elements.

• Interior surfaces were finished with carefully chosen colours that created a modern yet timeless aesthetic.

Colour Consultation & Material Specification

• Interior colours were selected in close collaboration with the client to reflect their style and vision for the new home.

• Exterior paints were specified based on the home’s proximity to the coast, with a system designed to protect against salt air, wind, and sun exposure.

• Our guidance ensured both visual appeal and technical performance.

Project Coordination & Completion

• A detailed project plan was developed to accommodate a tight three-week timeline.

• We coordinated closely with other contractors on-site to ensure a seamless workflow and avoid scheduling conflicts.

• Despite the complexity, the project was completed on time, allowing the homeowners to move in with their furniture and belongings as scheduled.
